That lady will learn a valuable lesson about *not* cutting toward yourself someday.
Positive reinforcement!
Plus old people die everyday. Oh, and car accidents. It’s basically the exact same thing.
Is this a joke? You do R & D (including robust A/DFMEA), robust systems design, and lengthy development and validation - years long, then verification.
SW dev context vs. customers driving on public roads. What’s the difference?
All vehicle features complete:
“Feature complete just means like it has some chance”
Now show me the definition of ‘Colloquial’ so you can understand the chasm of difference. No one uses “supercruise” in ordinary conversation.
I’m 34 and I side with the cashier, but I worked in food service for a decade. All these apologists are touting the exceptions, not the rule. 90% of people ordering coffee without taking there headphones out are listening to music and not engaging their server. Not illegal, definitely an asshole.
Isn’t it a general rule that if someone unironically asks if they are an asshole, they absolutely are?
Gee, if only there were an easy way to indicate to a someone that you don’t have music on and/or are paying attention to them/being respectful. Like taking your fucking headphones out.
Gee, I wonder if there’s a significant anti-abuse design difference that would limit drivers’ perceived capability of the systems.
Every few generations get a one way ticket. Bank did the same with several generations. New meta data for the Switch games probably makes it impossible to go back and forth easily.
Imagine making a $600 monthly on a Kia ... Wait, I’m not done ... and wanting to trade it in for a (guessing here) 3-4 y.o. BMW.
It’s really closer to a hybrid bus/taxi, but your point stands. It’s trying to create cost effective convenience that lays somewhere between a hired driver (pinnacle convenience, expensive) and public transit (inconvenient, cheap).
I’m so sorry.
It’s all good as long as you’re careful when you pull out. Well 78% of the time it is I guess.
To be fair, the culture they’re referring to is probably keeping this kind of communication hidden from the public, so it is antithetical to that corporate cultural norm.
I know that deadspin is, well, dead, but what if we start up a new hangout! What else do all of love with our beer and sports? Meat! I say we all head on over to meatspin!
