My hot take is that both the concept of ranking each episode, and the commentary it invites down here in Kinja, kind of take the steam out of the show. It’s an utterly absurd show delivered quickly. It really seems like people are thinking too hard about this.

Huh. “Both Ways” was my favorite.

I want to thank Barry for sharing the cereal conversation, specifically for this brilliant part:

(Wings fan here.)

sir how dare you make jokes in this, the deadspin comment section

From a Liverpool point of view, hopefully it is dawning on their ownership that building the third-best team in Europe simply won’t be good enough to win *anything*, and they will have to find a way to build a bench of talent as remarkable as City or Barca.

[pushing glasses up on my nose]

Thanks for telling me my feelings!

It’s almost like we tend to side with the teams we choose to support!

I dropped the comic habit around age 14, give or take a year. But the thing is, even if you stuck with them for a good chunk of adolescent years like I did, you “get it.” If you were less a Comic Book Kid and more a Movie kid, yeah, Endgame is probably just alright.

It’s weird being a Liverpool fan at this point. A little part of me wants to be upset about City likely beating them for the title. But even if Liverpool and City both win out and City wins the title... I just think I’ll still be happy. Like, good job to both teams for playing two of the best league campaigns in the

I don’t even think he needs to get that far. I think the differences in how the game has been played and how people view the value that 200 foot forwards provide has moved the needle.

Blows my mind that Haskins fell that far. I’m a (ugh) Lions fan, so of course I saw a lot of Haskins last year, too. Admittedly this means there’s some selection bias. But the guy’s really fucking good and it boggles the mind that a team like, oh, THE LIONS, didn’t take the gift that fell right in their lap, and

Just because this is a fun thing to think about if you aren’t a Warriors fan... if they don’t win the title this year, doesn’t this era of Warriors basketball close as something of a disappointment relative to the totally fair expectations based on their talent?

Cannot wait for some asshole tech-bro to “invent” a “platform” for “consolidating” disparate streaming options into a single, user-friendly experience, giving it some name like “CoAx” in a monochrome logo.

I think this is the correct take.

Damn. That ruled.

Fellow Reds fan here. I wanted City to lose, so it’s really easy for me to say that in this single instance, VAR heightened my excitement.

My opinion on this having you scared for our future is fucking absurd. I’m not in here saying fairness in society isn’t important, I’m saying I personally experience a tipping point where sports lose entertainment value if too much time is spent agonizing over fairness. We’re talking about sports. Would you get so

I went to several games in 2010 and 2011. That 2010 team gave 100 PAs to both Nick Johnson and Austin Kearns, which rules if you like Guys. It also seemed like half the games I went to were when the Rays were in town, and that mean a healthy dose of recent Guy inductee John Jaso, not to mention Casey Kotchman who’s an
