I don’t think she sounds dumb! But I’ve noticed she sounds a lot different from Solange, who perhaps didn’t spend as much time in their home state (and who sounds much more like an east coast hipster when she speaks).

It sounds pretty thick to me - but then, I’m Canadian. ;) I only bring up the accent at all because I know that in general, there are a lot of class/education stereotypes associated with regional accents.
Maybe. . .but I think a lot of it is just her thick Texas accent combined with residual shyness (which, yes, she loses onstage, etc., etc.). She may not be particularly educated (though apparently she was a good student before she became a star) - and I suspect if you asked her for her views on world issues she’d…
Logged in just to say, “High five!” I nearly spurted my tea.
Not sure if that’s true:
No problem. You might also want to show them the list she wrote as a counterpart to this one:
No problem. I really think this subject needs more than a random post on tumblr (even if this one seems to be making the rounds) - and she oversimplifies a lot - but it’s a good starting point.

Read the blog post - the author agrees with you. She’s pointing out the reasons why a lot of Jewish people are particularly sensitive around the issue. You’re still missing my point. If I recall correctly, Jezebel has barely posted anything about the thousands of people being murdered in Syria (or other human rights crises happening across the globe). Their focus is on women. Almost exclusively. That’s why you’ll see more posts about, say, Pussy Riot than what’s…
Ha!
Thanks. :) Don't know if it's my computer or this crazy commenting system!
