Oh wait, now it's there. I have no idea what's going on. Is it my computer or Kinja (this crazy commenting system)?

He also dismissed my response to his most recent comment. I can't remember all of it, but it was something along the lines of:

He also thought the post on Coco Chanel's Nazi connections was part of a pro-Israel conspiracy.

Oops - deleted before you responded (maybe dismiss my response and respond to my response to your original response? SO CONFUSED).

Dude's a troll. Trying to figure out how to report this to #trollpatrol (as I don't think the hashtag works anymore).

(That is to say, everyone knew it happened, but had there been photos, I suspect it would have hit home a lot more.)

Fair point, but I would also add that back then, we didn’t have same tabloid culture that we have now. As well - and someone correct me if I’m wrong - I don’t think there was ever photographic evidence like there was with Chris Brown and Rihanna.

I hear you. I really hope Paul Abdul isn’t an objectivist; I couldn’t say my heart would be broken if she were (my expectations aren’t that high), but I’d still find it a little sad.

Aw, be fair, Miley’s been kinda sorta cool for awhile now (even before the Powter hair).

Gaga looks like a Tamara de Lempicka painting in that photo.

I’ve never seen it that way. I’ve seen it more as: “I do care about equal rights. . .but not when they affect my bottom line” or “Is it really that big of a deal? Do you really think they’ll overturn Roe vs. Wade?” or “When the country goes to hell, will it matter whether you can get an abortion? The real war on women

Paul Ryan.

I think Anna is just very young. I don’t mean that condescendingly; I mean she probably doesn’t remember that they had several hits over here (maybe they were bigger in Canada, where I am, than the US?). From what I gather, the band isn’t together anymore and Peter Garrett is a politician now, but her post does seem

That does change things. Having said that, it’s one thing for a parent to abstain in front of their alcoholic child, but is that a common expectation in general? In my experience, it has never been considered bad etiquette to drink in front of someone who does not (for whatever reason), just don’t rub their noses in

Ah, okay - this is why I should click on the original articles (but I didn’t want to immerse myself that much in the world of Lohan; dirt bag is enough).
