Yes. I believe he is right to as to why it is beneficial. I was definitely mistaken about that. Good to learn.

Ok thanks for the link. Makes sense now. I’m guessing he explained it to me correctly but I misunderstood him. Thankfully I don’t think I’ve went into full explanation to other people that I’ve told them about my cadence improvements. So at least I haven’t been telling people wrong info regarding why it works for

Now I’m interested to see what other people say. I’d have to say that whether or not his explanation was right, my results have definitely improved. Not that I don’t believe you but would like more research to back it up. It would seem that before I worked on increasing my cadence, I would have had less ground

If I could add one thing from my past experiences is...work on your cadence (basically the number of strides you take per minute). I started running about 7 years ago and was more or less self taught because, well it’s running and how hard can running be?

Yea my university was doing some sort of donation drive the other day. I got a text out of the blue from my RA of like 10 years ago. I haven’t spoken to him in 8 years and it was asking for me to donate $10 because the students would really appreciate it and blah blah blah. I bet it was a mass text to everyone’s

My university will never see a donation from me until my student loans are paid. But to be honest, they probably never will see a donation from me. They have plenty of money. They don’t need more from me.

dude. thanks for writing that. i came across Barkley about a year ago and got obsessed with it. I did a decent amount of training in the fall hoping to maybe get in but I don’t really deserve it (and didn’t get in). I’ve been toying with trying an ultra this year (I’ve done 6 marathons in my life). Your post

I, respectfully, disagree. I’ve gotten a foul ball as an adult (not behaving like a child to get it. It actually rolled up under my seat while I was eating nachos) but I took it home and gave it to my nephew.

couldn’t agree more. I’ll never play hockey again without my cage on. I can’t believe there are rec league players who play without a visor.

It’s easily “Straighten it out”...worst parent comment at any baseball game (outside of when parents yell at each other...God I hope I’m not that parent)

There’s your first problem...you turned on Mike & Mike. A few mornings every week, I turn it to them on my commute and within a couple of minutes, I turn it off. That program just sucks.

and people wonder how fights get started. what a douche.

meh

Jesus JFPHonics, don't you have anything better to do with your time? Nice "didn't read" picture, you douche.

haha...food, venue, photographer, DJ and on and on and on and on and on and on.

Long story short, I had to jump out of a moving car 2 months ago because a co-worker lost his mind and was driving like a maniac. We were in the middle of nowhere Texas driving on two lane roads where he made multiple attempts to pass cars while cars were oncoming, only to swerve back into our lane. I saw one car

well done sir
