@Yarfunkina: I can't remember what I done to get them working. Working on a 64-bit OS certainly did NOT help compatibility issues, and thus I have problems running games that date pre-1998 natively.

Does the lighting on the controllers have much effect on the battery life? (assuming they only light up when turned on that is) That'd be the only thing that would make me not want to buy one of these.
