@Mit: They didn't have a major press conference, but they had Bionic Commando ReArmed 2, MvC3, Dead Rising 2, the new Resident Evil and Street Fighter 4 for the 3DS . They might have had more than that, but I'm not certain. Most of their big games were unveiled at their own Captivate event in April anyway, so I don't

@wompdevil: See? Our Shop Contests do contain 100% recyclable material!

@Adamotron: I like it too, don't know why so many others hate it.

@effin: This is now a Translator-san Photoshop thread.

@Alex_Mexico: Some say... that he trolled the whole world by pretending to unveil himself as being Michael Schumacher... And that there are multiple people worldwide anonymously replicating him...

"The level of detail, Yamauchi admits, might be "too much" and better suited for the next PlayStation."

But will its head-tracking technology turn the camera around to watch?

I could have sworn you posted this image here a few months ago. I've definitely seen this on Kotaku before.

Give Simon Viklund the musical duties please. Because the soundtrack in Rearmed 1 was absolutely PERFECT.

@luigilogik: Does Rearmed 2 happen between the original/Rearmed and the full sequel from last year? If so, I can understand why they'd put the jump in now. Spencer's obviously gotten to grips with his iron boots and heavy arm and he's trained more for it.

@Spanone: Bang on the money, exactly what I was after. Figured they'd stick a fin of sorts on it to differentiate it (kinda like they did GBA carts when they moved from GBC, same type of cartridge, but just won't fit in old slots).

@vantesaur: You do have a point there. I figured as much, no harm in being a bit more certain.

What format are the 3DS carts, do you guys know? And are they backwards compatible with old DSes (just disabling the 3D features)?

While the game does need to be "reinvented for modern times" as you put it Stephen, I'd rather it not reinvented at all. Leave the past in the past. GoldenEye was a great game then, but just.. move on. Leave it, and all the good memories of it, in the past. Now any time someone wants to nostalgia on the N64 for a bit

Can't let you do that, Starfox!

@I am Tak: Probably, but I'm holding my breath on it. While there is a lot more to translate in GT than people might give them credit for, I'm hoping most of it's been done on-the-fly since the majority of the in-game content's been pretty much nailed for a while now, only the tech-related stuff like the 3D,

@I am Tak: At this rate, it wouldn't surprise me if they done a unified world launch on the same day everywhere. It's been that long coming it deserves it at this stage.
