@OkayOctane: I've never actually watched V at all. I know it's a reimagining of an old 2-part made-for-TV drama, is it any good?

@Tpadz: I don't watch Lost, that's why I mentioned FlashForward.

I saw this and was instantly saw Simon Campos (Dominic Monaghan) in FlashForward.

@KillerBeeTX: I liiked up Wikipedia to see what the hoo-hah is all about. Totally rectum the movie for me now that I know what happens.

@OfficerJesus: I wouldn't dine immediately after it. Good call on playing Halo while the shock factor still settles in. Seriously.

@AchromaticMagus Loves Wotter: It's not THAT extreme. If it's shallow enough, you can cross it on horseback, but if it's a big-ish pond, lake, or the river, then yeah, you're shit outta luck.

@VincentGrey: I actually wrote this on my blog yesterday:

@Kainazzo: This is Rockstar San Diego/Angel Studios, not DMA. DMA is Rockstar North, the Scottish studio that made GTA. Completely different development team.

The only thing that I'm worried about, is the possibility of Resistance and Ratchet & Clank falling the way of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. Both were great first party exclusives, developers moved on to new IPs, sold them off and the series only took one new game to turn sour.

@yantelope: I recently dropped out of a similar course, and although we didn't have the luxury of having experienced heads from the industry come in and talk to us about the working environments (hey, who'd want to come to Ireland in this economy?), I've read enough around the internet to know that this is far from

@FoolsErrand: For a minute there I thought he was talking about Elton john.

@Clive Bavels: Hence the (yes, yes, I know) when he mentioned the source. We all know at this stage the Daily Mail isn't even fit to wipe your arse with, but a rumour's a rumour and if there's news to be made out of it..

@Maikeru03: They do force updates whenever new games come out on UMD. Well, at least they used to anyway, I haven't bought a PSP game since Dissidia (and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, but I got that off PSN as opposed to UMD). That was to deter piracy, of all things, and look how that worked out for them.

@ChaoticInfinityX: I agree. Its killer app is easily Monster Hunter, and I can see Peace Walker possibly ousting that, but aside from those, what have you really? There's no massive amount of heavy hitters that are exclusive and designed for the PSP the same way as there are for the DS. It just hasn't got the games

@Curse lily: I'd ask you a question, but it's a bit.. oh wait, it does kinda make a bit of sense.

@Brodka: regrettably: Oh god, don't remind me of that vile alcohol. I can't stand it any more, I used to be able to take the hit but now it just goes straight to my system and screws me over big time on a night out on the tear.

I think it's official: FarmVille has jumped the shark.

Wait, Need for Speed got BETTER? Oh man, after I played ProStreet I just gave up on that series. It went from so good with Most Wanted and hell, even Carbon was pretty good (though kinda pointless free-roam) to so pig-awful so damn fast I honestly couldn't believe they were supposed to be in the same series.

@smithy cat: Now that's what I call dropping a bombshell.

@Owen Good: Is it going to be a semi-permanent fixture on the top stories rotation during the week so that the thread doesn't lose interest? Or can we just leave our stories in #boxscores as well and you can pool in the sports stories from there too?
