@cyruss: I don't know who owns the IP, I'd assume that it's Remedy themselves. I know they sold off Max Payne to Take Two, but I don't think Microsoft actually bought the IP, just publishing rights.

@lance.uppercut: That's also true, but in this day and age, it's almost as easy to pirate 360 games as it is PC games. Although with the structure and plans for it to have episodic content with the off-the-shelf title seen as a "Season 1" of sorts, perhaps having paid DLC for extra content will stomp out any potential…

@cyruss: Alan Wake was always a Remedy game. Microsoft are merely funding the development, iirc, similar to the GTA4 DLC. They get it alone on 360 for a year or so, then after that it's up to Remedy and what they want to do with it.

@ExistentialEgg: Considering that a PC version kind-of implies that it will run on Windows, that would still count as Microsoft, right? Ports for other operating systems like Mac tend to be more specific in their wording, and PC just became Windows implication by default.
