It makes sense, Nintendo wouldn't agree to any of their characters appearing outside of their console.

Seeing as I'm going to a Gaelic Football match tomorrow evening (in Northern Ireland, good excuse to fit in a beer run while I'm there) after work, I don't think I'll be doing a lot of gaming. I might fit in a round or 2 on Tiger Woods Online, and when I get back, I might settle for some Team Fortress 2.

@ieatchocolate: It was probably invested so that there would be new content available at some point, rather than leaving Liberty City behind and moving on to wherever this is. Not just exclusivity, timed or otherwise.

@jackal888: Because they weren't available on PC at the same time as they were on the Xbox. Bioshock 1 has the stamp too and it's on PS3 now. It's just their status as of Day 1 Release.
