@munkeypants: TF2 hasn't been updated on consoles because:
@ThursdayNext: In a way, I wish he would too. One, to stop the complaining, and two, to expand their fanbase by giving others a more varied access to their games.
I honestly have no idea. Having just come home for at least a bit of the weekend and leaving my PS3 at my pad I'm limited to Steam games, so I might start Torchlight this evening. That is, if I can somehow get my Dwarf Fortress write-up finished. If I get back up Saturday though it's back to grinding and getting used…
@godot: Maybe Dragon Age isn't nominated because the writer(s) of the script(s) aren't members of the WGA and are therefore ineligible. Shame really, definitely deserves to be there more than a crossover IP and a first person shooter that even its own fans blasted the ridiculous plot.
Here's a good games-related question:
@Outkastprince: Well we could always use a few more Komrades over there to talk and moan about games with.
@hot_heart: I've come close on Demon's Souls a few times but that's just about it.
When I get to Friday, I go home from my apartment to work on Saturday, and get slightly faster internet as well as my laundry done.
@Covenant: I doubt anyone bought that game even for singleplayer spec-ops. Which coincidentally are quite fun.
@godot: You could argue that Fallout 3 could nearly fall into the same boat as Dragon Age (to a lesser extent) and it got a nod last year.
@Antiterra: Yep. Nothing to download means no reason for me to take the PS3 home this weekend. Well, itll give me a day or 2 to catch up on all them Steam games I've got on my to-do list anyway.
@Kanji08: Seconded. The "octagon cage" is lifted straight from Tekken 4, and at least Raven and Eddy Gordo of what I've seen so far look like reasonably accurate representations of the in-game characters.
Well, having yesterday asked whether to go and see Daybreakers or Avatar, I went with the majority of replies and seen Avatar. And boy do I not regret it. Even going through the comfort barrier 90 minutes in, having to wear 2 pairs of glasses, the movie certainly didn't disappoint. I thought the plot maybe could have…
@-MasterDex-: @Shinta: @Mardoch: Went to see Avatar in the end-up. Was a fantastic movie, the visuals certainly didn't let
@BubbleF**kingBuddy: College student studying Games Development, and office clerk on weekends.
Get the Google Chrome Beta that allows for extensions.
@Aerundel: See my response to Gray Harvest above.
@Gray Harvest: A good amount of the first-party exclusives I'd say would soon clock that up, particularly the likes of Metal Gear Solid and Uncharted, but I agree that most of the multi-platform games don't use up that much amount of space.
Yeah, good luck downloading a 20 gigabyte PS3 game, and then wasting an extra 3 gig doing a further install. I certainly wouldn't.
