@tim rogers: Agreed on the Harry Potter name drop. I got enough of that crap at school to know it's not cool to lay it on someone else as well.

@Michael Dukakis: Yeah, I think it'd be better if the stopped Focusing on adding stuff in and getting what they have done across the finish line.

@McWarrior: You've got balls of steel for posting that up. Brilliant.

@kevlarkevin: You remember the time Eric Cartman cryogenically froze himself so that he'd wake up when the Nintendo Wii was released? Bad idea man, besides, there's plenty of good games between now and the eventual then to keep you satisfied.

@-MasterDex-: The only reason I didn't buy the PSP one is because I thought it'd be a fruitless purchase with 5 only being a whisker away. Looks like I'll have to reconsider.

@Salen: I agree, most of its own fans are fed up to the teeth at this point, and Sony could use maybe sending an "Eye of Sauron" (coined yesterday) round their way just to say, "Oi, start wrapping things up, it's been long enough and the fans are restless to the point of ignoring the game. Finish what you have at the

Jeff Gerstmann raps? That's got to be a good 5 minutes of the show guaranteed already! This oughta be great.

@Rachel Fogg: I don't believe in transcontinental hivemindedness, so I'll go for the failboat instead.

@ReynaldoRiv: Daikatana, one of the worst games ever made that wasn't called ET. The guy pictured was John Romero, formerly of ID.

@Rachel Fogg: @ReynaldoRiv: You're about 20 minutes late, I already delivered the Atomic Boot on that one.

@MatthiasBeoulve: I actually prefer companies that only concentrate on a small handful on big-budget games a year. Not only is it less strain on the people working on them (see the Rockstar article from this morning), but it's less strain on both the gamer and the company's wallets as well. Sure we all want massive

@RockyRan: Yeah I get what you mean. I'm not a massive Nintendo fan myself, I don't have a Wii either, but what I don't get is why he didn't just say that they have no finalised timeframe for completion instead of saying something brash like what he's come out with, and having to potentially spare his blushes later on

@RockyRan: Well, at least unlike another well-documented delay story, at least Nintendo do get it done. Maybe not up to the massive general expectations, but at least it's still on shelves.

@Rachel Fogg: It comes with the territory though, modern games have raised the bar so high that some of the classics of the olden days just can't cut the mustard and hold their own with the new kids in the yard. Just look at what's become of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. Both excellent games in their time

@Rachel Fogg: Well to be honest, I can't blame Sonic Team for feeling like crap. After all, who works upwards and around 2 years to make a game only to see it universally panned? That'd get to any person really, there's no "meh, it's just a job" there, it's people's livelihood.

@Rachel Fogg: Yeah, they plain and simply stopped making likeable games. Hopefully Project Needlemouse brings some of the charm back to the gameplay of the Sonic series, you can say it's really been spinning downhill fast as of late.

@Curse lily: 1hr 45mins on PSP? Have you played the PC version? It's way more flashy-flashy IMO.

@Sabbatai: In my opinion, Fallout 3 (although they did retcon it with Broken Steel), I don't have any of the DLC myself and I think that the game was a great out-of-the-box experience without it. Obviously I'm going to have people that disagree with me on that, but that's OK, opinions are opinions and I'm cool with
