I wrote this two episodes ago, but—how was it written as a suicide? It would have stretched credibility if it HAD been.

Well not exactly. It's not like we were supposed to know (as viewers) that the Departed were actually alive—we were given no reason to.
We have no idea if Laurie died. Under that episode, I wrote that I very much believed she was still alive
I was actually more a fan of "You think that's the only key, girl? I got keys in different area trees!"
That still goes to Maya Rudolph for me by far.
Re-watch, sweetie. BenDeLa is really not the best dancer/movie/lip-syncer. Darienne, on the other hand, gives GOOD mouth.
It was the Renaissance, after all
The coolest ones are the ones that change every episode, usually to fit in thematically with whatever the episode is about, like "The Leftovers." Squidbillies too.
Oh God, I forgot how awesomely terrible…awesome and terrible…Lester was as a character in the first season.
Tooooo bad. Titus far and away gives the best line deliveries in the show. I love Ellie Kemper for holding her cartoon character personality down, and she certainly ties the whole show together, but the only character that consistently makes me ACTUALLY laugh out loud is Titus. Followed closely by Jacqueline.
"Diabetes?" "Not yet."
Hahaha they must have actually been pretty talented to sing so perfectly off-key like that though. I loved him at the piano with Titus warming-up, trying to move Titus from on-key to his flat-off key note.
"Whatever. IIIIIIIII am keeeeeping this robe!'
"To play devil's avocado…"
York Peppermint Patty. I cackled.
Why are these comments so unpleasant.
Lol but Ben DeLaCreme lost fair and square. She lost BOTH of those lip syncs to Darienne, and she even got a second chance after she bombed the first one. Nothing Ru could do after that point.
It was a business decision. The episodes were extremely expensive, and Netflix knows exactly how many people are watching and how much traffic its getting. I for one am happy they gave it a chance. If it didn't work, it didn't work.
Goofy doesn't necessarily mean bad.
