Nah, I just wouldn't want to live under each of their cultures. All governments are bad…and no money is made without some bending of ethics somewhere. Those aren't news to me. Still, it's a matter of values and whose I support.

Well, in my opinion, I love the changing demographic. However, 'identity politics' isn't a winning proposition in that case. Once the demographics have changed then aren't more currently minority people going to think more about their personal concerns than identifying as a 'subgroup'?

It doesn't matter who gets 'most' of the Latino votes. A lot of the Dems strategy seems centered on getting the 'nearly all' votes of the minorities. Like, the Dems losing 8% of their nearly 88% stranglehold on African Americans would be a disaster presuming the ratio of Caucasian voters stays the same (which I

It's pretty naive to think that people think America does anything out of the good of its heart. Who can you point to who genuinely believes that? It's far more about not wanting to live in a world controlled by the Russians or the Chinese. That's something I can get behind.

I'm not so sure. It would be bombing the whitest place in the US. They might get made over that.

You are absolutely correct. Plenty of Latinos (about a third, I believe) voted for Trump who, according to liberals, was one of the most anti-immigrant candidates ever.

I do remember the Green Jobs. They didn't go anywhere. Haven't heard about them since '11 or so.

Although an oversimplification, part of the problem is that Obama wasn't nearly aggressive enough with the Republicans. Here's an example: Unemployment went down. Jobs went up. Obama mostly let the numbers speak for themselves and supported transformative, but divisive, domestic policies like the bathroom bills. Then

You're welcome and not smart.

I rest my case.

Ah, that's it. Thanks. Yeah, I basically get angry because I don't think they give enough space for simply minding one's own business. Just because some dad doesn't want his daughter to marry a black guy or whatever doesn't mean I'm going to interject myself in their business.

Have you ever seen that show on network TV where they stage things to get reactions from people and then interview the people…and if someone doesn't get involved in the scripted incident they make that person out to be a horrible racist? I HATE that show.

Be careful or he'll start on some "I was raised with religion but now I'm an atheist and all religious people are cattle" rant…. I'm basically Nostradamus.

You very obviously don't try very hard to be "mellow and progressive"….you maybe you are just abysmal at it. I try to be neither and I understand why Germany was targeted for an attack by a very powerful hate group.

You are obviously being sarcastic. That's fine. At least you are coming to terms with having absolutely no legitimate point besides lamely trying to justify ignorance and xenophobia.

What if they are speaking Italian and writing math equations? Is their "nervousness" justified then?

If you are justifying people getting "nervous" because they hear someone speaking a foreign language then you are just justifying stupidity. All other things aside. I suppose you missed the article about the Italian mathematician escorted off the plane because they looked foreign and their equations were thought to be

That may be true, but I find it a pretty lame excuse for why people don't like when compared to, say, her apparently horrible personality.

Who cares about her being naked? It, literally, doesn't factor into me thinking she's a horrible celebrity. Average person in all ways.

I don't understand how she's redefined beauty standards…..She looks like a fairly normal, not overly attractive person (like most of us). I don't think it's fair to attack her on her average looks, but I don't see any redefinition. She isn't "hot"…just like most people.
