And this is why I hate the concept of the 'friend zone', because it convinces idiots like this that all you need to get someone interested is keep working at it.

I never said it was just about selling model kits. Just that the business model of each series revolves significantly around selling model kits - like many major children's television series, including TMNT, Transformers, etc.
Jason, I take back anything bad I might have ever said about you (I actually don't think I ever did). A man who wants an HD Remake of Torin's Passage is the most noble of men.
To be fair, it's just an excuse to re-sell old model kits - And Gundam has ALWAYS been about selling Model Kits.
South Korea is obsessed with Plastic Surgery - to a scary extent.
But it's easily understandable by the fact that they needed to create 3D models optimized for the 3DS for over 700 pokemon.
It was... then very disappointing as it literally did nothing :(
Watched this Saturday Night, and I have to say our only complaint (as a bunch of late-20s nerds who were into it at it's height) is that it covered the weirdest sections of the game. The Ghost Tower did not deserve an entire episode devoted to it. The skips between episodes were a bit jarring.
Holy Crap! That's just complete nuts.
That's so different, culturally. My family is Italian and my wife's is Indian, so cash is the preferred gift and it's given in an envelope with a card to the Bride and Groom the day of the wedding.
Yeah this is a dilemma. My wife and I ended up writing thank you cards anyway, but thanked them for their time instead of a specific gift. That way they still get a thank you card just in case.
It's polite, but it's not required.
My best friends (now-wife) had her bridal shower on the same day as my wife's.
I just got married in April, and while I can see where this Bride is coming from, I think it's silly to expect gifts from all of your guests. You will always have people who can't afford anything nice and deadbeats who will invite themselves and bring nothing.
I remember being one of the few people who stuck up for the new 'SNES' visual style. Still don't regret it - and all those 2001 haters are old enough to know better, now.
No, I understand.
I meant unusual in that they aren't a line-up you usually see.
Much like the x in my own name, I imagine it's just to look cool - as it was the shape of the original console (in fact early renders had it as a standing letter X).
That's a fair point. I don't think the Xbox One will suffer, but ultimately I don't think either new system is going to do well in this economy. I don't know anyone planning to get it before next summer.
No, that's absolutely true. I'm talking about 'confusion' from a product recognition angle, non-gamers will be able to get the 'new Xbox', but the branding isn't doing a good job if the consumer can't name your product.
