Definitely see where you’re coming from and that’s the conventional (and likely correct) wisdom. But here’s the take you usually don’t see just for devil’s advocate. Nobody tells Porsche to build an entry level family sedan. The new Harley plan isn’t about chasing revenue; if it was (and it was before the management

I guess that’s one way to deal with all the boomers dying off and leaving their bikes behind.

You’re out of your element Donny!

9/10 would Vette Kart.

I can’t wait to see what body kits come out for this. Once used/salvage Corvettes start hitting the market, it’s just going to be a matter of time before we have Corvarris (Ferrvettes?) and Lamborvettes (Corvborghinis?). But what I really want to see is a C8 re-shelled to resemble a 1987 Pontiac Fiero.

I’ve been riding for (jesus fucking christ) 50 years. I worked in the industry for 15. I’ve been to exactly one HD dealer in that time, because I needed a primary for a POS cop Harley. Even their parts guys were dicks.

LOL No bumper pad four cylinder Fiero should be selling for $3,500 unless that thing sat in grandpa’s garage and never eclipsed 50,000 miles. I’ve owned as high trimed Fieros as an ‘88 Formula and fastback GTs and never paid above $2,000 for any Fiero I’ve owned. And all of them have ran and been drivers (drove an ‘86

So close, but off by a year. Get the first gen rather than the 2nd gen. First gen (1980-90) gets you a far better looking car along with RWD rather than the FWD of the 2nd gen.

My personal answer to this is an EF honda Si Civic Hatch or Si CRX. They’re cheap to operate, parts are more plentiful for the later gen EK and EG, but they’re wayyyyy easier to get parts for than everything recommended here.

These have a competitive SCCA Autox class and you can pick them up for anywhere between $4500

#1 Fiero is the answer, I bought one for the same reason Mike is looking for a car. It has been amazingly fun to drive and work on. This winter the Duke is getting rebuilt or a 3800 is getting rebuilt to replace the Duke.

C8 with Fiero body kit.

He should have Czekaj’d himself before he Wzekaj’d himself.

Get a Fiero Mera instead:

Come on now. You lost me on number 1. You are my service advisor. You are my point of contact to fix the problem. I’m not talking to the truck I’m talking to you. Really... you tell me there is nothing you can do if the tech screws up the fix? Bullsquirt. I’m relying on you to manage the process. I’ve had good and bad

Let’s say, hypothetically, I were to put the sugar in the tank of the sheriff’s car, and slash the deputy’s tires so they don’t get very far when they finally get the word that there’s a been a hold-up? Uh huh?

So what you’re saying, Jason, is that this car worked on paper, but collapsed when confronted with reality.
