Kirby Cove. Not SF proper, but one of the best views of the city one can get in my experience. Camping is not free, but there is no charge for a day visit. Best in the spring and fall.

NSSM: non-sucking service manager. Register an app as a service. Didn't like btsync because a user had to be logged in for it to be running. Tried to get it to run as a service with nssm but couldn't.
I am currently giving syncthing a whirl. No limit on folders, open source, runs on multiple platforms. Even got it to run as a service with nssm. So far so good.
559 stars on this as I type, and every single one deserved.
I did this for awhile but find it's even easier to keep cables tangle-free by plugging one end into the other, then hooking the end with the plugs around my thumb. Then start wrapping the doubled cord around my elbow, then hand, til there are a few feet left with the other end of the cord's loop. Then I wrap that…
Turkeys away, bro!
For example, my "home office" is really a small sliver of floor space between a short breakfast bar and a few feet out into the main room of my apartment. My back is to the wall, and my desk is in front of me. This creates a U-shaped area with an opening to the right where I can walk in and out of my "office." That…
Brain. Broken. By you. Just now.
Thank you for that insight. That all makes sense and there are some aspects I had not considered.
I started doing this with a doc on Google Drive. I always add the current day at the top, strike through the items I finish, and grey out anything I didn't finish. At the top of the page is a list of items I want to get done over the course of the week.
Curious to know what the standard legal definition of guests is in CA as far as length of stay. Hypothetically, if we have a friend who is staying with us til they get on their feet, but we don't let the landlord know (and there is no specific stipulation in the lease about length of visit), what depths of catastrophe…
Yay for this! I have been a practicing lumbersexual since performing this skit at my high school pep rally in 1988. Complete with suspenders and a bra. Highlight of my senior year. Well, that and graduating.
We chop these into about 6 chunks as fire starters. A few cotton balls swiped in vaseline and set on top of these small chunks of fire log make a great 2 stage fire starting kit.
Right click would mean I had to put my hand on the mouse. Preposterous!
So, ctrl-v is the new alt-space-E-P? Brilliant!
My test run bears this out. On high for the typical time it takes to smoosh anything else in this beast.
Thanks! Worth investigating then. I am not sure I would use all that almond meal though. However...
I am all for DIY, but after figuring in one's time and the cost of nuts, is this any more economical if one consumes these products on a regular basis? I think I would go broke making my own almond milk, as I probably drink half a gallon every 2 or 3 days. And I am not sure my Vitamix would stand up to regularly being…
