I don't think there is any question that Frank is supposed to be a genius. The parallels between Lip and Frank are very strong. Lip seems to have his heart set on becoming his father (although, a much more cynical version).

Of course it does. But I don't know why anyone would be shocked that this show would go there. It was rape, but it was rape done out of love. Only Shameless would even dare to attempt to pull that off. The amazing thing is that it seems to have worked for a lot of people.

I love how through the Dreamatorium, and through Abed playing the other characters, we were able to get a glimpse of who Abed is behind the emotionless front. I really wanted to like this show … But it is fucking terrible. Prime Suspect was way better.
