Spica (Società Pompe Iniezione Cassani & Affini) started life as a clone of the BOSCH system, but they improved it many ways. It's both more flexible and arguably more reliable than the BOSCH system it began it's life emulating.

The marvelous thing is though; a properly calibrated Spica is quite reliable, and highly functional. It may be a little box of witch-craft and advanced theorhetical physics, but when assembled by warlocks and quantum mechanics (as they were in the Alfa Romeo factory) it actually works quite well.

This is very cool, and if I had, say $7000 to spend on it, I would rock the hell out of it; but at $14K it's sadly quite crackful :(
