Dont fuss at them for being obtuse when that’s exactly what the turn-based only people have been doing. If someone wants to complain that the combat isn’t turn-based then they should just say that instead of implying that action-based combat is just button mashing. They’re completely full of shit and they’re upset

After double checking it was Hitoshi Takai who said this not Yoshi-P. I suppose it doesn't matter who said it but I didn't wanna lie haha.

Someone posted a screenshot on reddit earlier of Yoshi-P saying there wouldn’t be a day one patch in an interview so I’m guessing they’re feeling confident that it isn’t full of bugs and is somewhat well-polished. Hopefully that'll be the case.

What frustrates me is the people who compare it to DMC (a fair comparison) and then say that dumb shit about holding or mashing the attack button. To those people, go play DMC5 and see how far you get button mashing attack. Enjoy spending all of your currency on revives.

Was he really that predictable? I expected him to turn on the team, which he did, but later it turns out he was some kind of double agent or something like that the whole time? For clarification I haven’t finished Royal but I've been watching someone play through it and it seems a bit weird to me when people are like

This person apparently knows and understands everyones thoughts, feelings, morals and motives. Go fix the world, sir or madam all-knowing. We’ll be waiting.

I wouldn't give up all hope just yet unless they've specifically said they won't do it. I never played CV myself but it seems like there are plenty of people who enjoyed it and want a remake so maybe they'll listen.

Absolutely, I’m not here to defend KH’s story as a story that’s good. It’s poorly written and poorly told. But I at least felt like, at the time I beat KH3, that the story it and the previous games were trying to tell was told and wrapped up. But people seem to be informing me that I’m an idiot and wrong so I guess I

Your theory actually makes a ton of sense to me and if we were to find any truth behind that I wouldn’t be too surprised. Also, I agree with pretty much everything else you said. I’m not very excited about the idea of Marvel/Star Wars showing up, not because I think they’re bad or anything, I just have no idea at the

I’m a bit of an idiot so I need to ask.. what exactly was wrong with that statement?

Different series’ have been doing this kind of thing for years, it’s nothing new. I suppose I should’ve worded my comment to say 3 wrapped up the previous games to “KH standards” or something. Anyone thinking this series is ever gonna offer them all of the answers on a silver platter are gonna be disappointed. I love

With the exception of wondering what was going on with Xigbar I didn’t really really feel like that many things were unanswered, but I didn’t focus too much on the story in general so I’m sure I missed a lot. I also assumed Sora was dead so that made it feel like a conclusive ending for me.

Understandable, a lot of it definitely does seem like Nomura throwing crazy shit at a wall and seeing what sticks. I still love it personally but the story isn't as important to me as the gameplay and characters themselves so it's a bit easier for me to enjoy.

I’m curious, do you actually know anything about the KH series or are you just talking from an outside perspective? 3 pretty much wrapped up the arc that all the other games had been leading up to and this is essentially the start of a new story arc.

Lmao. Thank you for your bad take, hope you'll be a bit more open-minded in the future.

You say “evidence has been provided” as if every person who plays smash has bad hygiene, which is a generalization, and that’s exactly what I was bitching about. You can make generalizations if you’d like but it’ll probably just cause people to assume you’re an assshole who doesnt bother to think before you

Why wouldn't we drink the kool-aid? Nintendo has been doing weird stuff like this for years, and I'd almost guarantee that this particular kool-aid is accurate. I love Nintendo, but I really wish they'd actually listen to their fan base.

Or maybe they’re not a Smash player and they just don’t like negative stereotypes/generalizations of large groups of people.

Yeah that’s completely understandable. It’s strange considering the way they’ve done their intros in the past. But I am about 100 percent sure this game is gonna be fantastic, at least if you’re a fan of Fromsoft/Soulsborne games (and possibly for people who aren’t).

Oof. You might end up disappointed then, but I disagree. The art that’s shown and the voice acting is very good imo.
