Most teachers, like myself, were not pushing an agenda, or bashing Trump or apologizing; they were reacting to an unprecedented (for me at least) situation - a room full of students who were angry, scared, and sad.

I had my students write about it. Then I pasted all responses into a Word document, blew it up, and posted it on my board.
