Agree about Ann looking great these days. I'm kinda doubting she cares what some fifty-something year old man who talks in comment sections like he's still in high school thinks when she's a millionaire and in the Rock Hall of Fame. As for you taking the not-so-fat one, I'm kinda doubting Nancy would be interested.

How can you hate Dog and Butterfly? Might be their best album!

That song was "There's The Girl" and I tend to agree, it's not one of their best.

Funny you mention that. It was before my time, but I was reading an archived Rolling Stone article talking about Dreamboat Annie, the album. It kept comparing Ann Wilson's voice to Helen Reddy. Personally I don't hear any similarity whatsoever, but then again I don't know many songs by Reddy.

I concur. Fanatic is a great album from start to finish.

Those were great songs. Still hear them every once in awhile on our classic rock station.

I read that book and it takes on the 80s professionally written songs head-on. In fact, it goes into detail about how tough it was for Ann especially. In one part it even talks about how Nancy got pissed off and walked out of a meeting when the demo of "What About Love" was played — she hated it.
