PREACH!

A few things:

Ethan, Ethan, Ethan. I’m sorry but in order to make this argument you have to ignore the entirety of the setting.

Yeah, they are overreacting, a less then stellar side quest is not headline news. Like the other guy said “piss off”

So me and my 6 friends playing and loving it are wrong? This game is a spin off, it was never going to be as good as the trilogy. That said it’s still quite enjoyable. Ppl had way too high expectations for it.

These characters for the most part are not military. This whole thing is a giant civilian op with some military soldiers sprinkled in. That is how I’m playing it. Ryder is not Shepard. Neither is most of the crew. They are all civilians. The only Military officer is Cora. Everyone else has a science or Merc

Damn, the first planet was so much fun for me. I loved exploring it and doing all the quests on it. :)

The amount of undeserved hate is very overwhelming. I can take criticism, but it’s beyond that now.

Isn’t that 99% of open world games though?

That’s what happened for the first Mass Effect game, everyone dump all over it and they eventually came around. What people are forgetting is that the first Mass Effect game was not all that great either, it was stilted, the dialog wooden and the animations felt subpar. But it was a fun game and Mass Effect 2 and 3

I wonder if down this line, this game will go the way of Alpha Protocol: everyone hated it when it first came out, but after a long time, people eventually appreciated it. It has (sort of) the same problems too, such as the bad animations.

It might be fan fiction, but it’s a very good fan fiction that I can’t put down. It’s alright because the combat and exploration is better than any of the previous games!

yes they are, by a boat load.

What the hell, I really liked this side quest to be honest.

There is definitely a new story on the tram after this mission.

Oh piss off. This game is wonderful. Quit nitpicking and enjoy yourself for once.
