@zelannii: You seriously need to educate yourself on BD players. They DO stream existing content. Not to mention that many of the tablets coming out WILL have DLNA (which you didn't bother to look up). So when a person with any tablet or laptop other than those made by Apple CAN stream directly to my TV. VUDU

You can buy a blu ray player for just a little bit more and get everything (except for iTunes) and more. What's the point?

Will Google TV have DLNA support?

@00Red: I'll give you the "Apple experience". What really kills me is how much more versatile DLNA is to Airplay. Airplay is limited to iTunes while DLNA is only limited by the server software.

@shufflemoomin: The article already mentions the default show desktop built into windows 7. It's specifically states that this is a good way to transition xp users.

@00Red: True, but why the eff doesn't apple just make their devices DLNA compliant? Why make a whole new standard when not only does one exist, but it's already in thousands of devices?

It depends, will Nokia make a device that I would like to buy in the future?
