Bowie's accolades of Arcade Fire, TV On the Radio and James Murphy still make good music, but none of it will ever be as important.

He's rocking a pretty great outfit though

J DILLA'S DONUTS! How could we forget that one? It's the only non-Bowie album I am playing today and it fits really well.

Bowie's support of Lou Reed is extremely touching, he even supports Lulu! Berlin and Transformer are albums that rival Bowie's best output.

FOX News commenters were even civil. Bowie transcends!

The best thing any of us miscreants can do is learn from creators like Bowie, his whole career was built around collaboration. In this age where connections are beoming even more fragile and misconstrued, we must connect somehow.

They were bunnies you boof!

This comment chain could lead to a pretty great essay/thesis.

Just make sure you don't sure them Labyrinth first. Show them the Spongebob episode before you do that.

More like the itunes sample thrity seconds..

Going to throw an odd one out "Everyone ays Hi" from Heathen and the videogame Amplitude:

EDIT: IT's also worth noting that during his Heathen album he was also kicking songs around for Rugrats, a film that ended up casting Iggy Pop. So incredible.

The idea of Bowie wanting any of our prayers is laughable too.

I imagine for the Koch Bros Wolf Hall and Downton Abbey is considered a "banger."

I want to hate you but you have to have a Roy Wood avatar. I'll just say Lou Reed would like a word with you and carry on.

Perfect. But for our hypothetical listener I think it's important you approach his albums in cycles and don't blow through him at once. Bowie's discography defies you to do so.

And to humble myself I almost auditioned for American Idol with "Starman" but chose "Frankly Mr Shankly" instead.

It's too perfect I know. That's just the way Bowie is in your life.

I lost my viriginty to a looping "Heroes."

Then you need Aladdin Sane, Hunky Dory, The Man Who Sold The World. Stay with those album for about a year and then move onto the Berlin trilogy.

No way. Stop it.
