This is seriously offensive, take it back!

I have gotten nothing but chills since I first woke up. I just started Hunky Dory and now Low…and probably will keep going

I had a dream that mother received a brain cancer diagnosis last night. I guess I didn't get the symbolism.

With the Killers Brandon Flowers pulling the trigger.

Ah fuck, was rooting for Carol.

Leo should spend a day on Herzog's set and see what a hard day's work feels like.

Kind of appreciate Leo's shout out to "indigenous people" especially after Hollywood's Adam Sandler's incident.

Just saw it as well and thought it was really good but confused by the heaping hyperbole critics have been heaping on it. I can imagine Carol having an easy time being accepted as an important film for depicitons of lesbian love. You mention Brokeback Mountain as a comparison but Carol reminded me more A Most Single

Really want to believe that Samantha Bee can create a darkhorse suprise hit on TBS, but that seems like such a long shot.

Can't even get pass the first episode, but the true crime genre is the most mainstream cultural phenomenon happening on television. The trouble with Kurosawa is that Ikiru, Rashomon, Dreams, seven samurai, High and Low and the Mifune samurai joints are all so incredible that the ones I haven't seen don't excite me as much as rewatching those films I've already seen.

This post hits all the right pleasure centers. Love Spiral Downwards is awesome! I forgot that 21 was a henchman and that the robot's name is helper.

Steve Harvey seems a lot more misogynistic and homophobic than any of those pretty boys in the Blue Collar.

It's that limitation on his worldview that cruel boxing of a "black corespondent" that just won't leave him. I imagine that's why Wyatt Cenac got in trouble at the Daily Show, didn't want to be another black correspondent.

Continue reading diversely. More non fiction and explore more older decades of fiction authors (particularly some more "cannonical classics").

That's because Tim robbins is one of the more realistic looking actors in Hollywood and Stephen King doesn't write pretty boys as leads.

I couldn't stand Grossman's Harry Potter that skips all the childhood whimsy and lays right into the angst. I could believe the visuals he was painting but the characters were insufferable.
