I do this, but I compare it to a film. Or, if I’m feeling fruity, a novel. Take this example: £50 for 10 hours (my brain doesn’t work in dollars and I don’t know how much a visit to the cinema costs in the US). A cinema ticket is around £11 here for, roughly, 2 hours entertainment. So, £5.50 an hour. In this instance,

Edit: Damn someone else already posted about this but I couldn’t find it before posting - sorry!

I’ve been using xkpasswd with the XKCD preset to generate passwords for ages. Definitely recommend this approach. Typing out those horrible garbage ones is a nightmare.

I’ve only got one. A Rosalina I bought to use with my WiiU when Mario Kart 8 came out because she’s the best. Every now and again I think about buying another but then I don’t. Unbelievable though it may seem, it’s all true.

During the tutorial, in spite of being a documented fan of motion controls, all the unfamiliar mecahnics just made me flail around failing so I disabled them. I got pretty good with motion controls up to level 16, consistently top 2 in regular play. Tried motion controls again and I love them now. I can actually aim

This sort of biased journalism disgusts me

This is why I save games before I walk away; so I always have something to revert to, just in case. Not risking autosave with a 4-year-old in the house.

I recently played an incredibly tense game of Micro Machines on the PS One in front of a busy pub (retro game night) and it’s one of my favourite gaming memories ever. I’m usually very shy about playing games or doing anything like that in public but this was so close and so tense that everyone else just disappeared.

I loved this one as well. Nearly went straight back in.

I expect it’s because I’ve been doing it since OOT on 3DS and Gravity Rush on Vita but I find the motion controls a lot more accurate. I use the right stick to get to the general region I need to get to, then motion controls for precise targeting. It’s really satisfying to loose an arrow in this way.

FAKE NEWS

I think the sentence is:

This has happened to me before. Was travelling on Boxing Day a few years ago and hit a patch of ice on an un-gritted road, was fully sideways for a couple of seconds and managed to fix it just in time. Pulled over shortly after and puked the hardest I ever have. Hands down the scariest thing that’s ever happened to me

I signed in just to star this.

I really want a Smach Z Pro at the moment but it’s outside my impulse purchase range. I’ve wanted a handheld PC for ages.

Damn I came to start a sarcastic version of this thread but it seems a little redundant now.

These games are my Ubisoft exception. I absolutely love the new generation of Rayman.
