I really wish this movie had kept with the premise it suggested at the beginning before Cyrus died, a whole city worth of gangs united against the police. That would really have kicked ass. By the way, gang + roller skates = not intimidating.

I thought the ending of take shelter was good, and thematically made sense with the rest of the movie.

It was one of those movies I was pleasantly surprised by because of the awful press it had got. Probably I wouldn't have liked it so much if I'd been looking forward to it.

I think that the same goes for any album which peaks at the first song, no matter how good the rest is.
