I inherited a 1978 Cutlass Salon Fastback Coupe from my aunt when i was 17.

This is a set of red buckets and a center console conversion away from being a fine example of malaise era “muscle”

I drove a 86 Tempo for quite a while in college - it was not great - but not terrible - it was solidly MEH.

A friend bought a newish v6 5pd manual, it was better, but my 4cyl Beretta was more fun to ring out . 

I like it - but - it would need to be no more than $750.
If this had a center console, I would maybe go $850.

Looking at the BOF image - I have to wonder what the hump in the from of the pack is ? extra capacity? doesn’t seem like they will need to clearance a transfer case as the drive units appear to be on both axles.

It has too many “truck lines” on the rear of the cab.
It needs a more angled C pillar.

It would have serious Radwood cred.

I want a GVX. Sure its a crap box, but its unique.

If its not made in the lots factory, or a badge of the big 3 its foreign!
The mindset has no nuance.

Where is all the fold down / hidden stuff that makes van life so unique and Instagram able?

This needs to be a pick up like the Maverick fast.

An XLT - FX4 + Towing in Cyber Orange is probably in my future once the chip shortages and general clamor for the new model are over. 

I like this - I might go with a slightly larger cab - maybe more of a extended - with no jump seat

Kia will not order a car - I ran into this recently looking for Telluride.
Hyundai - would allow me to order a Palisade. Same CUV.
Hyundai is the parent of Kia. The Hyundai dealer said this was no issue - and I am now in accepted status and waiting for it to be built and delivered.

I had a 78 Delta 88 - red velour interior - rear windows went down, the a/c cranked, it was a great cruiser the 350 never broke down.

I always wanted these to move in opposite directions. 

I ordered a Hyundai Palisade, the Kia dealership wouldn’t order, or even try to locate me one that wasn’t white Grey or silver.

I think so too - the push button gear selection will be an adjustment
