This thing does look great but I don't see how this would take over the iPad or the Macbook Air scene anytime soon. If people want a portable typing machine, light and thin, they'd go for a Macbook Air, if they want something simple to read magazines, surf the web and play games on, they'd get an iPad. Long have I counted the days till the announcement of this monster machine. Now that it's here, I feel that it didn't quite live up to all that hype... Not thin enough, the starting model's SSD not big enough, no ethernet port (it's not Macbook Pro Air for god's sake) etc... I'd still get it though.

Ditto to that, WIFI is definitely not a permanent fix for the cabled problem. In the end, ethernet is still king in transfer speed compared to WIFI's interference prone crappy speed.
