As epic as that closing act was ("Shall we begin?"), it was odd that NO ONE was already at DragonStone. I know that Stannis goes all in when committing to something, but still it was weird that an magnificent fortress like that was totally empty. No Stannis-minions left, not even a cleaner was there to welcome Dany.
