I know on Disqus it's possible to change your username and keep all your old comments. Can I also do this on Kinja, or if I want to change names but keep my comments will I need to do it before the switch? May be a stupid question, sorry.

I'm thinking of running for local office in a couple of years.
I don't think anyone is counting on them teaming up with humans. I just think Littlefinger is making some calculation beyond simply being on the same page as the Starks about the Walker threat. It may indeed be that he underestimates the magnitude of the threat, and that that plays a role in his calculation.
Jurassic World not getting the D- it deserved.
I rented it a couple of months ago and couldn't believe how good it was. Really felt like an endangered species of action movie where you can't quite tell if it's supposed to be a right-wing fascist fantasy or a left-wing satire of a right-wing dystopia. Reminded me most of The Raid (for the plot), Arnold's old 80s…
Remember what Varys once said about Littlefinger: "He would see this country burn if he could be king of the ashes." I can't imagine that he actually wants the White Walkers to win, but he may not want a quick and decisive victory either. It's been a good while since we've seen Littlefinger actively stab someone in…
I can't put my finger on what it is with these reviews. They feel weirdly scattered and rambling, and seem to make some strange choices about what elements of the episode to focus on. Usually I find it hard to understand why an episode gets the grade it receives. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I always read…
I find this show very relaxing. I think other (American) cooking competition shows are way too stressful and high-conflict and wind up detracting from what, to me, is the core experience of just watching people cook and seeing what they come up with. What is it about our culture that makes the tense, frantic style of…
I think it's a good idea for single men to keep three or four good pictures of their dicks on their phones just in case somebody asks for one, but you should definitely wait for the request to come in. When the time is right to send a dick pic, you'll know.
I think Memento is still probably his best movie. Interstellar has some lame aspects, but overall I like it. Inception might be the most overrated movie I've ever seen, to me it's just a straight-up dud. I think he's a fine director from a technical standpoint, but I very rarely connect with his films as stories.
I just came out of this movie. It was okay. Well-made, but it left me pretty cold. I think I have to accept that I just don't really like Christopher Nolan that much.
I have never wanted so badly for WSJ's reporting to be accurate.
Most propaganda at least has the decency to try not to look like propaganda!
What the fuck is up with his parentheticals? He actually does this all the time in his tweets. What does he think it means? Why not just say "homes" instead of "buildings (homes)"?
Who?
How motherfucking stupid do you have to be not to see this as naked propaganda in its purest definitional form? The most depressing thing about the Trump administration to me is realizing that a lot of people are way, way dumber than I thought.
I…don't think they literally believe that?
I really was not inclined to believe that Trump had colluded with Russia when people first started talking about that, but I'll be damned if that dude doesn't act guilty as shit.
I don't know if he has full-on dementia, but to me it seems clear that he's not right in the head to at least some degree. Clear-thinking people just do not have those speech patterns.
My wife bought Small Victories recently, and it really is the best cookbook I've ever read. The recipes are good, but it's more about instilling that versatile arsenal of tricks and techniques that separates a good cook from somebody with a lot of recipes. I think someone of basically any level of skill and experience…
