I think it's an okay movie that gets by largely on just not aiming particularly high. It's not trying to do anything more than serve up a few basic jump scares, the scares are pretty effective, therefore it's technically a success. But I don't get the view that it's some modern horror landmark. It's a pretty

I watched Poltergeist the other week for the first time in many years, and I was kind of surprised to find that it's not a very good movie. It has some cool moments (really dig the corpses popping up out of the pool), but as a whole, it's just a really saturated movie. I thought I remembered a lot more buildup with

Anybody know if this site is planning to review the new Dark Souls 3 DLC?

Obviously, Crumpacker snorted up all the burrito money. It's basically a reverse Pollos Hermanos.

Vanderpump? I've never even seen her pump!

Crumpacker should have stuck with his old job as a stodgy Victorian banker.

Hell, pubic school is rough on any kid.

I'm going to miss Joe Biden in both his real-life and Onion versions.

My wife is a great cook and chili is one of her best dishes. She doesn't even really have a recipe that she uses, as long as she has the core ingredients she can finesse up a badass chili with whatever's in the house. But no matter what ingredients go in the pot, there's one side that will always take a good chili to

If you can get hold of it, it's one of the better games in the Gamecube library.

I don't think you have to be some kind of Machiavellian genius to go around blaming everyone's problems on immigrants, refugees, and "the inner cities." The truth is that in his life, Donald Trump has shown an aptitude for exactly one activity, which is self-promotion. That's what got him where he is. If he's made any

Where are you getting this? The data I've seen has him losing in all those states, and it's looking increasingly like he would need a clean sweep of those states to win. The bluest state he's likely to pick up is fucking Georgia (my home state!)

That's the day to vote for Hillary Clinton or other non-Trump candidates. If you want to vote for Trump, you have to wait til the 28th.

Honestly, I couldn't remember the plot of F.E.A.R. while I was playing F.E.A.R. As I've said on here before, it is in many regards the dumbest game I've ever played. However, some of the scares are legit, and it features maybe the best shooting of any FPS ever made.

In terms of gameplay, it's basically exactly the same as Limbo: deadly puzzle-platformer where your main verbs are run, jump, and push/pull.

The Cat Lady is good? I've had it on my PC for a while and I've tried to start it a couple of times, but I never got past that first impression that it was just trying to be edgy and shocking without must substance underneath. Maybe I'll give it another go, just in time for Halloween…

If Inside counts as a horror game, it's probably the best horror game I've ever played.

1. The protagonists are teenagers in high school, they don't have the ability to do that. Even for an adult, "keep going back and forth across the world for the rest of your life" isn't very practical.

You know, I think that 40% is extremely inflated. I'll be surprised and dismayed if he gets anywhere close to that on election night.

Halloween has an elegance about it that I think really elevates it above its many imitators. It has a great distinctive visual style, the soundtrack is inhumanly perfect, and the plotting is as relentlessly efficient as Michael Myers himself. So many slasher flicks are basically in screensaver mode when there isn't
