Like every other nerd out there, I'm going to bitch about how terrible an idea this is, and how I've no intention of watching it. Probably even as I'm watching it.

This article stopped just when I thought it was really getting started. Ah, well.

You don't get arrested for "allegedly" doing something. They arrest you for doing it, you're alleged to have done so, thereafter.

I love all the jackholes that are telling me it's my fault for going on facebook the same day the episode aired. I'm not even gonna explain it to you, just know that you're jackholes.

I dunno, is this really an A.V. Club type story?

MacGyver's first name was at first intended to be Stacey, as seen in a press release from Paramount. However, it was never confirmed in any episode, and remained a mystery until the seventh season; whenever he is asked about it, he says he dislikes his first name and quickly changes the subject.

I like the premise of the Ideas Channel, it seems like everyone's heart is in the right place, here. But. The self-congratulatory smarm is so thick as to make the whole dang thing unpalatable after about 30 seconds. A shame.

The three possible scores for "The Walking Dead" as seen by A.V. Club: 'A-'; 'A'; and 'A+'. Sheesh.

::Nods sagely::

I bet you a buck ninety-five that I'm as indifferent to the second season of OITNB as you are to Modern Family. Talk about riding the coat-tails of a strong first season.

The bullet is even smaller, but it'd still kill you dead, dead, dead.

"Cell" irritated me, but the final chapter of The Dark Tower actually pissed me off.

I think it was starting to creep in, the signs of King's decline as early as Tommyknockers, if you squint real hard you can see it. But by Gerald's Game, the jig was up; The King had lost his mojo.
I'm with ya on his son, too. Joe's still got the fire in his belly that his old man's long lost.

Being the child of divorce, one split Hannukah/Christmas I received Hawking's "A Brief History of Time" from both camps of parents. It was then that I realized my family thinks I'm a nerd.

No, you're right, I haven't read them all. The last two I recall reading are "Cell" and his unforgivable last volume in "The Dark Tower" series. Has there really been some grand masterworks after those?

It's so early in the morning here that I honestly can't tell if you're being snarky or not.

King has officially sucked longer than he's been good, now. From the 90's onward, it's been nothing but self-indulgent horseshit. Koontz has had a more consistent career, and I used to think he was just a poor man's King.

I saw the remake first, and thought it was pretty good. The 'downer' version is no doubt a better movie, but it's not like it's life-changing either.

Noid jizz. Now you know.

You wanna know the sick, sad truth about the KFC's here in Poland? They don't serve mashed potatoes and gravy. It's hard to get outta bed, some mornings.
