We get it: you don't like Gamestop.

You're right: that part wasn't up for debate. See, when the word "too" is in there, it includes your comment. Meaning you just stated your comment was stupid. Glad was got that cleared up.
Ah, I see the disconnect. You're trying to make this a discussion solely on video games whereas I am discussing Kickstarter as a whole. I can now safely pat your head and wander away from the conversation.
Incorrect about Kickstarter, but hey, whatever helps you sleep at night, Chief.
If you think the only thing people on Kickstarter are after is money, you are terribly naive.
See? I can say stupid shit, too.
Tell ya what: prove me wrong. Show all of us how right you are. Give us verifiable proof that what I said was inaccurate in any way.
We'll wait.
I have a feeling we'll be waiting a long fucking time.
You keep confusing capitalism with creating something.
You should probably stop doing that.
Not, it really, really isn't. That is the point of capitalism. Big difference.
I hope you brought food.
If you say so, Chief. If you say so.
In order of question:

The point of Kickstarter is not to make a profit, necessarily, but to produce a product/service.
MOST Kickstarter projects succeed in that, once they are funded. In fact, I've back, to date, 32 projects, of which only 4 are still to be delivered, but all of them are making progress and are on schedule.
So, an outlier, a freakish aberration from the norm, is the thing that prevents you from dropping a couple bucks here or there for worthwhile endeavors?
I mean, it's your money and all, but don't let things like this color your opinion: the supremely overwhelming majority of projects are not clusterfucks like this.
Seems to be the norm now, which is unfortunate.
Because blind optimism isn't a good thing?
I don't know how much more clearly I can state it. Spielberg specifically and explicitly stated "Animaniacs was not created for children." That's a pretty cut and dry, definitive statement. Simply because you choose to not believe it does not make it untrue.
Sorry you've decided to engage in an argument that should…
And that is perfectly acceptable. I just don't see any innovation, really, with the X1, either. The Kinect isn't really being innovated, just more invasive. The family sharing, if it ever comes to fruition, has been done already, too.
Then again, I've never been a big fan of buying the next big thing simply…
Wanna know the number one reason, amongst a dozen, for me to avoid this show?
The art. Fuck. I cannot stand it. It's actually the same reason why I refuse to try WoW.
I've lived with the equipment long enough to know that violent collisions and my junk don't mix.
Keep being wrong, guy.
