I’m very picky when it comes to reviewers from the big sites. Like a lot of people I find IGN and Gamespot lacking almost universally. Matt Miller at Game Informer reviewed this and he’s a good one for sure. I really appreciate independent YouTubers that have an excellent reputation of reviewing, and have been proving

Who are your trusted reviewers? I’ve been trying to find reviewers I trust.

In what world is the PS4 inferior, though? It’s at the very least least the average/standard for consoles. The only consoles beating it is the Pro version and the Xbox One X, both of which designed to be the premium options.

Very excited for this game as it is an Akira Kurosawa film homage made into a video game. From all the accounts I’ve seen from trusted reviewers, it seems to very much live up to those lofty aspirations. I can’t wait to play it.

my problem is just that I’ve had an xbox one since launch and I’ve only played a single game on it. The system just feels kind of unnecessary.  I have a PS4, a switch, and a gaming PC.  the Xbox One doesn’t have anything that I can’t get elsewhere.

Fun episode yet I do think I would have had much more fun had I not seen the Comic Con announcement beforehand. Instead of a “holy shit! It’s happening” reaction, it was more “Oh, this is how they are gonna get there” kinda deal. Still fun, but I’m jealous of people that saw the episode without knowing what was coming

Archer needs to wake up from the coma at some point. While it’s cool that we get the opportunity to see the gang in all kinds of new scenarios, I think they need to return to the original concept, at least for a few episodes.

Space Ocelots.

Archer is such a world-weary smartass for so much of the time that the contrast when he finds something he unabashedly loves is a huge burst of amazing energy, one that elevates just about any episode...

“Just couldn’t leave my buddy Cyril behind.”

Things that I don’t personally like: sore losers and poor winners. People that don’t shake hands and congratulate the opponent - unless there is good reason for that.

That big doofus wouldn’t know what to do with himself if he got popped in the mouth for real.

So I appreciate the Kotaku is questioning these situations, but it doesn’t help your case when immediately following the article there are “recommended” examples of Kotaku openly glorifying these “pop offs”. Like maybe we stop celebrating these?

Nothing more intimidating then a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shirt.

I appriciated the joke with Bell’s character but this episode still kind of sucked. At least Ray had something to do. If they do continue the show, I guess Ray is gone next season? I don’t really know why they would, the show is utterly pointless now, the episode orders are tiny and I’m sure the ratings are terrible

Malory tries to convince Carol/Cheryl to save her shipmates

I wasn’t convinced by episode 1, but after this one, I’m on board. The battle sequences were amazing (damn, who knew Cyril could be so badass). But the biggest laugh I got was from a gag that has been done countless time, but the delivery WAS amazing.

I think of Barry the same way I think of Cyril in these dream seasons. He’s an exaggerated projection of Archer’s perception of him. With Cyril, his occasional rival, Archer gets to imagine him as a perpetually inept and jealous loser who he can abuse. With Barry, a legitimate antagonist completely of Archer’s own

Judy Greer is a goddess.”

God damn, I’d push it up to an A just for that great character animation. And some of those alien designs were pretty great too. And of course Funbeak.

And yes, Judy Greer is indeed a goddess. Cheryl is pretty much the series’ MVP at this point.
