Thank you!

Thanks! Yes - but only in one of a kind pieces. we are currently exploring doing some more mass market furniture.

Everything comes back in some form or another -and know that people like me - true children of the 80's are coming into our own you will see something for sure. I would kill for 1984 testarossa at the moment! Though I may end up with a delorean...

Great question. It really depends on the moment and the project. I am always inspired by nature and by aerospace - across the whole 20th century - but if I have to focus on a specific artistic movement, I am a bug fan of futurism.

Ciao Francesco. Grazie tanto! IED will give you an excellent opportunity to enter PF, as several of my old colleagues teach there and they routinely offer internships. Of course as you know in italy having an architecture or engineering degree will not hurt... I wish you all the best and feel free to send me work

Thanks! We were trying to find that niche again with Saab. The swiss army knife/car is always difficult but I think you will see more and more vehicles fill this niche so hopefully one of them will meet your fancy!

SSC is on track for launch towards the end of the year...slower than we'd hoped, but it will go faster than you think!

check out my website or FB page. We will have some announcements in the coming weeks. We are working on an ultra light jet, some products and a couple of interesting - but confidential car projects.

I can't really say there is a blueprint other than a lot of hard work and good timing. It is true there are many talented people in this business - but success is always a cocktail of talent, dedication, being in the right place at the right time, being given an opportunity, and then capitalizing on that opportunity.

I will always be honored to have been a part of Pininfarina and to have contributed significantly in my time there. Pininfarina who gave me a tremendous amount of trust and responsibility at a young age and they never hid me or my involvement in the projects I was involved in while I was employed so I have no

Gene Sanchez knows too much.

Weight reduction will really be the key. If we can significantly lighten he weight of even today's largest vehicles than we can go to smaller engines. Thus the widespread use of carbon fibre and like materials in chassis and bodies will be game changing.

Conceptually yes in that it is a modern car design and falls into the niche that so many big OEMS are running to - the hatch market. Granted, it would need to be revised somewhat to remover some of the more signature Saab design elements.

There are mules with the drivetrain, but the final cars is targeted for the and of this year.

The PhoeniX concept was actually inspired by current trends in aerodynamics as seen on race cars. We wanted to tap into the philosophy of the original UR saab which was designed by an aerospace engineer. Well - today - aerospace engineers design F1 and le mans car - so we decided this was a way to bring in the same

Thanks! With the NG93 I was given the homework assignment to retell the Saab story in one car. Ownership really wanted a car that was philosophically Saab - aero driven, functional, a bit odd and quirky. We decided to tap into the nose cone aero themes of the really early cars - the UR saab and the 92, whcih

Chris Bangle and J Mays have the most profound effect on mainstream car design. Thereafter I have to acknowledge Peter Shreyer for the amazing job he has done with Kia. As for family feeling - it is important - but can also be dangerous if everything starts looking exactly the same but in different scale. It is not

Tough question...I always joke you have to love all your kids the same... I guess the SSC is probably my favorite because I think it has the same type of wow factor and the elegance of the Birdcage but it is real, and more functional. I am equally proud of the Gran Turismo as it was the first car I designed and it

I have been EXTREMELY fortunate in that the end result of the projects I have worked on is always very close to where we started. That is also a tribute to the companies I worked with and the people I worked with. Every project brings different challenges in that it depends on how many people are involved, the time

What's the old adage in literature - there are really only 3 stories ever written? Yet we always find something new and interesting because every one is going to interpret the rules or the basics differently. Car design is similar. The basic architecture of the car has not changed in 100 years. We have to
