How about these CO law makers use data to support this proposed law, instead of fear mongering to fleece more money out of EV owners. Roads are already designed to handle significantly more weight than where most evs land. So they will need to come up with better excuses to spend our money of pork.

EVs purposely emit sound to alert pedestrians at low speeds. Even hybrids use this technique. At speed however, most of the "highway" noise comes from the tires hitting the pavement. Which heavier EVs have the potential to make more noise at speed than a similar ICE vehicle tire for tire.

Top Fuel dragsters hit the 0-60 mark well under that mark. And reach 300+mph in about 4 seconds repeatedly. This impressive EV gokart has some work to do to catch up.

Extreme temps are not good for ICE or EV. Where are the solid state batteries at?! We are ready for 600+ miles of range with the AC or heat at 100%!

This is a good thing for Ford. It’s always been the goal of traditional dealerships to have some inventory on lots. Thats how dealers draw in customers. Considering EVs make up .5% of total dealer inventories right now, is of zero concern to anyone in the industry. The glut of over priced ICE vehicles sitting on lots

High EV inventories? 92,000!? Is not high. That is .5% of total vehicle invetories sitting on lots. Unsold ICE vehicles sitting on lots account for around 2 million total. Lets get the story straight here. Please, someone with real journalistic integrity, put this situation in a realistic perspective.

ICE cars don’t even sell that cheap anymore. “Cheap” new cars are usually 35k now. Dealers want everyone in a 6-7 year 50k+ loan to be able to buy anything decent. And we aren’t even talking about EVs. Those are an extra $10k on top of ICE.

There’s 2 million new cars sitting on dealer lots. 92,000 of those are EVs. That means less that 1/2 of 1% are EVs... I wouldn’t call that “leading the way”. That’s literally how you make a mountain out of an ant hill with statistics. Don’t believe me? Re-read the stats in the articles released last week that
