No one talks about the Cure anymore, so going to leave this here. Best deep cut by The Cure. Alt version of Grinding Halt snarkily using bad review of the Cure to throw shade.

He is also well aware that it's a dumb pop song. "Genuinely dumb pop lyrics are much more difficult to write than my usual outpourings through the heart,"

How dare you accuse The Cure of 'cash grab' they are pretty much the anti-cash grab band:

A little blood and humiliation in exchange for a million dollar lawsuit? Sign me up!

In that case, refund the non-travelling passenger. My issue is that they are counting on no shows so they can pocket the extra fare. At worst, it's fraud and theft. At best, it's just incredibly unsavory.

Here's when overbooking makes no sense. Was on a flight where companion had to cancel at last minute, so, it was overbooked and someone else was sat there. Since my companion did not make the flight and they resold the seat you'd think she deserves a refund. But no, airline just pockets the extra cash.
Shady.

Why would they sell a seat twice to begin with? Ok, I see that they figured out some percent of people don't show up. Is it a weight thing? If two passengers are no show is the plane too light too fly?
Because otherwise the seat has already been paid for and overbooking a flight is nothing other than callous greed on

Throwing that challenge was a bad play for them, after Russel left, that tribe was eviscerated, 8 of the last 9 players were on Rob M's tribe

Hantz will never be greatest of all time, but is still a HOF player. He played the game in a nasty, aggressive way never seen before and is partially responsible for people seeking out alliances on day 1 as is the modern survivor way.
Although, ultimately its is a non winning social strategy, in Samoa his tribe came

The book was first published in 1978. WTF. Are you actually expecting a spoiler warning for a minor, vague, character detail about a 40 year old book? FFS. No one expects a spoiler warning about Darth Vader being Luke's dad.

I'm also waiting for the Beliebers to weigh in on the Adele/Beyonce controversy of 2017.

I'm furious that Drake didn't win the award. Does that mean I'm sexist?

I'd actually prefer more idols, but agree that there shouldn't be a player finding a new idol during the finale episode.

This was the biggest problem, imo.
FWTD just fast forwarded through the whole part of the show that would have set it apart from TWD. The first 3 episodes of the show were fine, but now its just become TWD: West Coast.

In the last 4 seasons, the winners were 1) White woman 2) Black Man 3) White man 4) Sri Lankan woman. In fact, less than half of the winners in 31 seasons were white guys. The show is plenty diverse.

I guess I replied to the wrong post, someone above called racism, and I just didn't get it. Nearly half the cast are minorities and those that were voted out all had good reason to be voted out. I'm just surprised it was even mentioned.

I saw less outrage or suspicion about race in Cook Islands, a season where tribes were literally divided by race.

Ok, yeah, so 13/31 white male winners. so 60% of the time a minority or woman wins. I haven't looked at the makeup of who has been in every final tribal council, but I'd be willing to bet the distrubution of race and gender is close to equal.

In 31 seasons of Survivor there have only been 14 white male heterosexual winners.
9 white women
1 black woman
1 latino woman (twice)
1 asian man
1 asian woman
2 black men
1 gay man

To add on to your argument:
The issue is that the new product is effectively useless out of the box for very common use-case scenarios. I shouldn't need to purchase additional add-ons to be able to plug in an external keyboard, monitor, or BRAND NEW phone from the same company. The $750 headphone jackless-phone came
