@liferpost: "Tax burden" is just a neutral descriptive term, kind of like "economic illiteracy" or "self righteousness".

How are they 'debuting' this? Haven't they been around since April?

@Shadowlayer: ha! sucks for all of the colleges and universities that have hired social media managers in the past year!

@timgray: Worst is not actually a synonym for "not the best". Worst would likely be something like putting the ice out on a cookie sheet or on top of the toaster oven, don't you think? The colander is a clever improvement on a bowl alone, and it's something that most people ALREADY HAVE. Your idea is nice, if you

Anyone aware of a similar way to access the B&N Nook e-reader over WiFi?

The KGB had a gun that fired bullets where the charge never leaves the casing. Instead a little metal "plunger" pops forward out of the casing (but not completely, holding the gas inside) driving the bullet down the barrel. since the entire explosion happens in a sealed casing there's very very little noise.

These "gather the best posts on a set of related topics" posts are reminiscent of the TV show episodes where the characters sit around during a snow storm talking about all the good times they've had, and filling the 30 or 60 minutes by showing the recycled footage from said good times.

@wagons plz: I think "Starting his trip in Marshall, Texas, he turned on the device when he wanted to write a letter and turned off the device between letters." answers that question.

@tablespork: Well, as long as we're being technical :-) it's actually a free x with the purchase of x AND y (a drink) so it's less than 50% off (x/(2x+y)) off to be exact.

@Hello! My name is Anonymous: I never realized the GT wouldn't work. Wonder why, presumably something html-ish. I edited my commetn above 12 times trying different things and the GT symbol does weird stuff, too. Removes words from the comment and such. I suspect witchcraft!

@SBM_from_LA: Well, a Whitelist would still work. And when you get a desired caller in your voicemail, you add them to your whitelist.
