Advances in technology have allowed auto manufacturers to build ever increasingly complex cars quicker and cheaper than the old days (adjusted for inflation).  I started in the business in 1996 so I can’t tell you first hand what happened in the 80's and earlier. I believe that did a lot more batch building of cars

Interesting. I used to go to Japan a couple times a year in the 00's and remember seeing car lots that specialized in American cars. Back then it was full size trucks (Regular cab w/ short bed), full size vans, Mustangs, and Camaro’s

Lots of homeless do buy gym memberships for shower access.   It is a very well known “trick” among people that live in their cars.

Those are your only two options if you buy a Maverick.

OK. Your truck has a 6 foot bed. So you pick up a 8 foot long sheet of plywood and it doesn’t fit in your bed. So you put the tailgate down and strap it in place.

I managed to carry a BMW R1150R in a 2000 Nissan Frontier crew cab with a 55" bed. The Maverick’s bed is 53".

Cash is no longer king. Cash means the dealer doesn’t make money selling you a loan. They may still make the deal but they aren’t going to accept a low-ball offer just because you have a bag full of cash.

Too sexy apparently.  I generally watch NBCSport’s extended highlights and they never show him bare chested.

1. You aren’t paying extra for the hybrid in a Maverick - it is the base engine. You pay more to get the optional 2.0T

I want a Hybrid or PHEV with AWD. I want better traction and good fuel economy not either / or.

So what’s the problem?   I never had anything fall out of my Nissan Frontier Crew with a 55" bed.

It is a interesting channel.  I can’t really say why I like it as I’ve never been one for “reality” TV.   I guess maybe because it doesn’t have the manufactured drama and they are small 10 - 15 minutes videos.

Exactly. You can take a car pretty much anywhere if you are willing to cut roads along the way and winch the car along. Is dragging a car behind a dozer “driving”?

Sure they could have but I doubt too many viewers would want to watch them ride along in a military convoy. The problem was security not the roads.

You answered your own question. In Europe prices are advertised “out-the-door”. Europe is run by communists and socialists so we can’t do anything like it is done in Europe.

Ford is moving the next gen Transit Connect production for the US market to the Hermosillo Assembly Plant in Mexico. It will be built on the same line as the Bronco Sport and Maverick.

The current idea is to send trucks autonomously from hub to hub. The hubs would be right off the highway. A human takes the trailer from pickup dock to hub, connects it to an autonomous truck and send the truck on it’s way. When the truck arrives at the destination hub it drops the trailer and a human takes it from

I worked for UPS as a driver. Union job represented by the Teamsters. I absolutely did pee in a bottle because it is WAY easier than trying to find a public restroom in a residential neighborhood. However, I did not leave my pee bottle in the truck for someone else to take care of.

There a 3x more CCS charger locations than supercharger locations.

When I think of used cars I think 3-4 years old. About 40K - 60K miles and about 40% - 50% less than new.
