Mid-drive with a rear internal hub is the way to go. My current pedal bike has an internal hub and I would never go back to derailleurs.

Bicycle commuting can have huge savings if you stick with it. My wife started bike commuting in 2018, stuck with it, and we got rid of a car. Even keeping a car - saving a gallon of gas a day is $3 a day here. $3 x 200 days a year = $600 savings a year. Talking to your car insurance company and reducing yearly miles…
We shut down the assembly plants for several weeks early on. Manufacturing engineers worked overtime to rebalance the lines and create holding fixtures so all jobs could be done by one person and everyone could stay 6 feet apart.
Thomas Build Bus is owned by Daimler Trucks. The “Jouley” C2 electric school bus is powered by a Proterra drivetrain and battery. One of the nice things about Proterra’s system is that it has vehicle to grid capability. So school districts can partner with utilities to share costs. There is a pilot program in Virginia…
He needs a van. This is home base to sit in all day when the kid isn’t skiing. On a mountain - in the winter - where it might be blowing snow sideways. You want some room to move around, change wet clothes, kick back in a chair and relax with your feet up.
That sounds like my wife’s complaint. The gloves are thick and stiff which makes them hard to doing anything with them on - like open and close helmet vents, open her visor or find zippers. This is pretty much true with any insulated leather glove which is why I prefer regular gloves + heated grips.
My less catastrophic story of unsecured loads.
I was going to argue with you and say that the details of emission standards and CAFE standards are regulations in department documents and not written in a law that would require congressional approval. Then I looked - nope - they are hard coded into the text. (That makes the Trump administrations attempt to roll…
The original design is beautiful but in defense of the Swiss owner - he actually drove the car. Side mirrors are legally required to pass inspection and be road legal.
The new price may be due to some states limiting FCEV rebates to vehicles with a base price under $50,000.
The argument for a fuel cell is that the technology is needed for applications like long haul trucking so manufacturers have an interest in continuing to work on the technology.
I find keeping the core warm keeps the hands and feet warm. When I was riding a motorcycle year-around I invested in an electric vest and that by itself goes a long way to keeping the whole body warm. Mine is a Kanetsu brand purchased through Aerostich 19 years ago. Still works
12 seconds to steal a bike from the van doors opening to them closing:
My wife and I are fans of Aerostich’s gloves (and suits).
Exhausts are certified as an assembly. Changing from the cat-back changes back pressure which changes emissions. Anything you do that changes the dyno graph is also changing emissions.
The R-Class was a nice vehicle even if it didn’t sell that well in the USA. All the Mercedes engineers I dealt with in Vance would flat out say it was the best handling and most practical vehicle they made. They also said they would never own one. Strange how image can trump performance.
No, my stint at Delphi was pretty brief - back in the bankruptcy days.
