Well you have to separate and categorize such things. For example Lady Gaga, Madonna, and others of the same ilk rely on hyping their persona. Their music often plays second fiddle to the public image that they have created / initiated. Beyonce and Rihanna have sort of a 50/50 persona/musician image thing going…
