Mo'Nique won in 2009. Penelope Cruz, Melissa Leo, and Octavia Spencer won in 2008, 2010, and 2011. They, respectively, have 15, 19, and 15 film or television credits since their win. Mo'Nique has only 5, one of which is her own talk show.

She said she was receiving scripts. They just weren't making sense to her. She won the Oscar and they knew she could act, yet they were still keeping her wages down. This is where equal wages comes into play. We should be supporting her stance.

There are some really successful supporting actress winners, but it isn't a golden ticket to fame and fortune like we tend to think it will be. Jennifer Hudson and Mira Sorvino are two that come to mind as examples of people who were great in that one role and have since moved on to much smaller roles and TV movies.

Too be fair, I very much doubt Gabby Sidibe could fit in a coach seat and it would be pretty humiliating to try. It's also true that if they were flying the cast to France, it would be the industry standard to buy the star a first class seat.

If I was required to fly to France without pay to promote the film, I would demand business class too.

(Race is likely a factor in this, too.)

Good call, faked suicide is much more Frank. This is my issue with the show: I think the non-linear story-telling is compelling, but it 1) covers up sloppy writing (like how inconsistent Lila's character is) and 2) paints the writers into a corner with options. Lila needed to be missing for the plot to be interesting,

But there really are very few stories about contemporary HIV infection in film or TV these days. We get plenty of throwbacks to AIDS crisis tragedy, but not nuanced stories of living a poz life in 2015. I think Nowalk and Shonda will do the subject justice with a much more complex emotional arc than we're used to

" Bonnie is the weakest link (How does she still have her job?"

I've heard speculation that Wes is her son — when her uncle molested her, she got pregnant and then gave her son up for adoption.

Asher's purpose is to be the guy that everyone thinks is "the worst,"but in reality he's the only one who is not a liar or a murderer. The actor is great, the conceptual underpinning is there, I think they just need to connect the dots with his character a little better. The episode with his Dad was a good start, but

Wes is the least interesting character. Is it bad that I kinda hoped he killed his mom?!

Hey! Leave Wes out of this mess! He was just a back country boy when he first showed up! He's way over his head...

Until they showed that Rebecca was dead, I thought Annalise let her go from the basement when no one was looking. Frank as the killer came out of no where for me. Also, Wes can go home and never return for all I care.

If my anxiety caused bleeding, I'd need a mop everywhere I go.

Yeah Bryshere is doing a good job. he has become Hakeem. Yeah, Like Michael was down with you in the struggle for a hot minute. He put up with your Daddy issues and your Daddy's issue with him, hell he even moved into that roach infested apartment with you. Yet you couldn't even stand up to your daddy in private or

He shd just be himself. I cld not focus on him except for his luxurious hair.

It sounded like he was half from South Africa, half from Australia, but trying to sound American?

That scene when Annalise was having her head scratched by her mom brought me to tears. I've been in that exact position and had many poignant conversations and shared many secrets with my mother doing that same thing. I miss my Mummy.
