I figured, in my sociology class I was taught weddings on average as of like 2006 cost 40,000 bucks but then when you think about it, all the people that spend less than 2 grand and the people that spend 100 grand or more would probably average out around there
THIS! I stopped drinking out of choice and all of a sudden people want to chastise me at social events if I turn down a glass of wine or a bottle of beer. I just don't do that and people have no idea how to respects other peoples choices about their bodies (consumption) if its not a choice they would make for…
I thought that was pretty normal, I have never been to a wedding that had a bar that people just got whatever they wanted from it! last one I attended had like 6 diff types of alcohol tops!
Your wedding will be beautiful, I just know it!
Awww, I'm a shortie just reaching 5 foot as of my 20th b-day a couple months back and I feel you on this! lol, at the amazon barbies attacking dinosaurs, sounds like a great b-movie
Exactly! Wouldn't barbie be a little more forever 31 than any other age?
This comment made my day.
I know! Barbs now has the ass of most girls I know (self included)!
I never thought about that but it makes so much sense for barbie to be 35! Since I was a kid I figured her to be at least 30 cause thats the age I considered most grown up...i was only like 6 then
so much alliteration, that comment makes me proud to see alliterative words put together like that
I had no idea, no one ever bought up mitten age
An entire 12 mos, but for me it feel like a decade.
My mid-size, in-state school turned out to be a great decision for me as well. I felt like I was a loser/underachiever/even a little unambitious 'cause I was one the only one of my friends who graduated with me that chose to attend an instate school that was on the coast of our state (200 miles from home but 200 miles…
I had no idea of the us. news and world reports rankings until I was in college and even now, after 3 years of undergrad I still don't understand how any of those schools earn those placements
We were super poor when I was growing up (homeless for years) and by the time I graduated high school we were in a slightly more stable situation (living with family members) but years of poverty and a history government assistance paid off because I got a crazy amount of grants along with merit based scholarships…
This is so true, as a 20 yr old on the 3rd year of my undergrad I chose an instate liberal arts school that I got VERY (4 and 5 figure) good scholarships too and felt rather less than because unlike many of my classmates who went to high ranked state schools around the country, ivy league schools and just big name…
But she's like 23 though...not exactly a teen
I think you are looking for mixed privilege/white passing privilege as Lolo is of mixed race heritage. But yeah, you hit the nail on the head right there
I learned cursive only because my 2nd grade teacher taught us for like 3 mos. at the end of that particular school year and that was in 2000. She us taught the cursive alphabet and numbers.
