I agree with you, but you shouldn't be dignifying the Argument from Nature fallacy in the first place. Anyone who is trying to argue something is "unnatural" should be ignored outright.

If I ever lost a limb, I would see it as a prime opportunity to get outfitted with a cybernetic arm.
This was a cute and artistic episode, but ultimately pointless. I probably won't be watching this episode again anytime soon, yet I've watched tons of other AT episodes several times each.
In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war....
"unh, unh ohh that female empowerment, show those sexist me, unf. So sexy baby."
I don't read cape comics, but I stand by creators' freedom to make whatever they want no matter how lewd or sexist. Don't censor things because kids might be watching, leave that to parents.
This is probably the most useless i09 article I've ever read. Yes, people are continually evolving individuals. Congratulations.
Yes, he actually is in this regard, because he isn't a sexist. This seems to upset you.
Does no one see how horribly sexist the OP comic is? Would it still be okay if it said "I looked at a character, and decided they would be better if they were a boy, like me."
Yep. I think people can connect to characters regardless of gender, race, personality, or hell, even species. But there is value in seeing people like you represented nicely in the media. It affects how you see the world, and how you think people see you.
the presumption among way too much pop culture (and the people who decide what gets made and how) that all interest and worth lies in being a (cis-)man, preferably white, middle-class and straight.
Sexists who whine about gender are terrible people.
I agree with you, I'm black too, but I've never felt that a lack of black people detracted from something or was distracting.
I love how intelligent people are waiting for the FILM TO ACTUALLY BE MADE before they start complaining. Americans aren't self-entitled at all, you see?

Hot.
No single person should be held accountable for or be pressured into changing what they want because of society or what others do. Do not admonish or discourage people for wanting to be pitchers. Encourage people who want to be batters, catchers, etc.
I understand what you mean. I'll copy/paste part of my reply to Dov Sherman just to save some time:
I agree with you that it is disproportionate, however 100% of stories do not contain characters which need saving. Out of the number of stories which do contain someone in need of rescuing or help, I still wouldn't say the percentage is 99% to 1%. Still, I get the point you are trying to illustrate.
Mikasa would be a great character if she wasn't such a mary sue. Then again Attack on Titan is a pretty poorly written shonen series anyway.
