It seems like you're creating another double standard.

This comic doesn't offend me at all. It looks great!

"You can't defeat hypocrisy and inequality, so don't try!"

And yet I see feminists getting upset at depictions of women in comics, video games, you name it.

Being an internet activist and just typing up snarky comments doesn't help anyone. It's being sanctimonious and a psuedo-activist. I don't believe in charity personally, but if you do... why not actually DO it, instead of just talking about it?

Your whole argument is framed as "men need to do this" "men need to change" when it's PEOPLE that need to change. Framing an argument as "men vs women" is useless and sexist.

"but in the end, you're simply trying to fuddle the argument in fluff."

The feminists that I know get upset at sexual depictions of females in generally any type of media as it is somehow endemic to a diseased misogynistic culture and objectifies women and somehow turns them into slaves and objects. Even if the image is just a drawing.

So you're denying that feminists get upset at porn?

You totally don't sound upset and like you're trying to attack me.

It's more like trying to call attention to the "I'm oppressed so that gives me the right to be an illogical self righteous asshole and don't you DARE try and contradict me!" game that commentors on this site seem to love to play.

"which one are you going to be more invested in? Which one is going to have more pull for you?"
That depends on the contents of the paragraph and chapter.

If you're referring to my comment, I did not complain about it. I was calling attention to the fact that it was not happening.

I see. I don't read Marvel or DC comics and have no concern for what goes on in them.

I think you need to learn the difference between saying something... and referencing something to allude to something else.

"You are invested in finding out what makes that individual the way they are, where they go, how they got to where they're at in the story."

I feel like you're attempting to bring in outside influences and things completely unrelated into a discussion about a webcomic.

How is the material in a comic, responsible for larger issues in society?

I don't know... does it? I think it would be a good idea to ask people who accuse pornography aimed towards heterosexual males if that material objectifies women.

So what about all the anti-pornography groups and people? Also, the term "pornographic" is thrown around pretty loosely these days.

What makes you think that? Because I presented information you don't like?
