Nissan IDX, not sure if I would buy one but It would have added a bit of new obtainable performance to a pretty meh Nissan lineup.

Something along those lines does actually exist (no bananas though). I build and race small electric go karts designed to look hilarious, which often ends up resembling real life Mario Kart.
