Smart! As a former Pit Boss, I can tell you this... I lumped people into 2 categories, especially regulars, 1. people who were polite and tipped the staff and 2. assholes.

You are 3000% correct. They serve FAST and it’s a fun ride with a great view on top of booze for days.

Agree with nearly all, though the steak at Circus Circus is argueably better than at the Sout Point. ;)

on my first trip there, my flip flops (it was 105+) lasted half a day before I went back to the hotel for my sneakers.

What does that have to do what my pointing out that there is plenty of better priced food off Strip for those who don’t want to pay $15 dollars or more for a burger?

Bring sneakers

I don’t know anyone who would have trouble finishing 2 drinks in 30 minutes, which again, would give me my money’s worth....

THANK YOU! We did it during the day, so will have to try it again at night for the best views!

Look pal, if you don’t want to do it, don’t do it. Our group was mixed, 5 guys and their significant others, so not the sausage fest you’re trying to make it. The pods are literally huge. Plenty of room to move around without concern for being in someone’s personal space. Quick note: the Ferris Wheel is also an

100% agree. You get an awesome view (especially at night) and even drinking casually during the ride will put you ahead compared to what you would spend anywhere else for drinks. The bartender we had was totally fine with giving us rapid fire shots / more boozy drinks like long island iced teas too.

I travel to Vegas from the Northeast almost yearly for conventions.

it’s not really gambling if you’re already earmarking the $40 for drinks. Even if you run badly, that’s still going to last at least an hour or two in the nickel VP machines (plus you might actually win!). I like the High Roller too, but forcing 7 drinks down in the span of 30 minutes isn’t my bag, but as you said, to

That was kind of implied in the “aside from gambling” line. That’s not really my kind of fun, but to each their own. My whole crew had a blast w/ the Ferris Wheel. Btw, the drinks are only free if you 1. disregard the money you’re using to gamble. 2. don’t factor in your time being worth any money 3. actually come out

Skip “the Strip” and go downtown to Freemont Street. Old Skool Vegas, just a much better vibe all around.

When we go as a group we rent a house on AirBNB. Preferably with a pool and pool table for off the strip activities. We rotate paying for uber / lyft to and from the strip.

Yup. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: if you can’t have fun in Las Vegas, you’re simply not a very fun person.

This. I don’t gamble, and end up in Vegas every couple of years because it’s one of the standard locations for meetings due to the convention and hotel space available. But it is a fun place to sightsee and to peoplewatch (plus the weather is nice if you are there in winter).

Honestly, the best thing to do in Vegas that’s completely free is to just walk around and look at everything. The Bellagio Fountains are fantastic, and the volcano in front of the Mirage isn’t too bad either. Every casino usually has some grand display that you’re free to admire whenever.

You must be so much fun on vacation. After all, who wouldn’t want to hear about enjoying a Vegas trip from someone who doesn’t enjoy Vegas.

The Happy Half Hour on the Ferris Wheel at the Linq is one of the best booze deals in Vegas. For $40 per person, you and your crew (~12 can fit comfortably in one pod), will be treated to a full bar and bartender for your 30 minute trip around the Ferris Wheel. The ride provides excellent views of Vegas, and depending
