the only intriguing thing about this show
is that i seriously can't decide whether the producers are mocking this whole phenomenon or totally endorsing it. Honestly, I have no idea, but it is just so freakish its almost cringe comedy.

the only film i walked out on because i was feeling sick is Mondovino. a documentary about winegrowers. for some reason the director thought the best approach to the subject is to go all Greengrass, even if the subjects were sitting in armchairs.

do you people know that The Maltese Falcon is a typical "adaptation of the source material, not a remake"? there were two other versions filmed before from Hammett's book, in '31 and '36. I saw the earlier one and it was horrendously boring.
